KÜNSTLERPOSITION
Die Motive der ersten Werkreihen befassen sich maßgeblich mit der weiblichen Figur, wobei der Torso das Hauptelement darstellt. Schwarz-Weiß-Fotografien greifen die Dimensionen des Raumes und des Körpers auf und verzerren die Wahrnehmung und somit das geläufige Verständnis von Körpern.

Assemblagen und Installationen greifen die Vergänglichkeit des Körpers auf und zeigen dies in organischen Formstrukturen. Die abstrakte Malerei lässt mich frei und emotional arbeiten. Insbesondere jene Werke, welche einen hohen Grad an Interpretationsfreiraum für den Betrachter offen lassen, bleiben ein wichtiger Bestandteil meiner Arbeiten.

To protest against the layoffs, the trade union ver.di, the international trade union network TIE Global and the Frankfurt Prekärlab are organizing a protest on December 11 at 2 p.m. in front of the branch. As part of this campaign, the local artist Anna Zora Schmitt is showing some of her works from the series "WWW". She is dedicated to the topic of added value, appreciation and dignity, and with her art she shows the tension in this industry.
